WE BELIEVE IN CHANGE

There are many wonderful life experiences here in the Lake Chapala area. The culture is colorful and amazing. The locals love their parades, their fireworks and their many celebrations. They are basically a warm and happy people, despite many challenges. Their priorities are religion and family with little regard to materialistic concerns.

That being said, there are numerous things that could be changed to make their lives even better. Housing. Infrastructure. Education. Health care. Just some examples. The goal must be to respect their culture and not try to impose North American values on them. Any projects of change must be done only to improve their lives as Mexicans.
